Lost – Love, Sex & Poetry
By: Linda A. Long
A kiss
To the lips
Started the fire
That raged
Between them
That sultry afternoon
When they surrendered
To the pressure
Of their desires
Call it chemistry
Or maybe it was
Just primal lust
But the spark
Between them
Was undeniable
They savored
Each moment
Of that stolen
Afternoon
They had together
The rights and wrongs
Of what they were doing
Slipped away
And for those few hours
They were lost
In each other
Lost in
Each other’s arms
Lost in
The passion
Lost in
Sex
Lost in
Desire
For those few hours
They were
Lost in each other
