Day 9 – Writing 201 ~ Cold, Concrete Poem, Anaphora/Epistrophe

Flower
It’s almost that time of year
When my petals fall
It’s almost that time of year
When I wither
In the cold damp air
It’s almost that time of year
I say farewell
And return to the earth
It’s almost
That time of year

Note:
Day 9’s assignment made me break out my drawing skills. lol. Three “requirement” were:

    1. Cold: I wrote about Winter coming and Roses dying

    1. Contrete: Poem should be in a shape. Well, I had to draw a flower before I could write in the shape of a flower.

    1. Anaphora/Epistrophe: Repetition of a line ~ “It’s almost that time of year.”
